About Hallel College

Unto God and Excellence: a co-educational Christian institution raising the total youth the world will be proud of.

Our History

From a Vision in 1994 to a Leading Campus

Hallel College was founded out of the vision and passion of Dr Edna Opara to empower today’s youth for tomorrow’s challenges. Having climbed through the ladder of educational training, she brought her wealth of knowledge as an educator and a pastor into the establishment of Hallel College on October 3rd, 1994.

What started as a Day Secondary School has grown to include a Boarding Secondary School (2008), a Nursery & Primary School (2006), a Creche (2013), a Sixth Form College (2016), and additional Primary and Secondary schools in 2018 and 2022.

It is a co-educational, Christian-based institution. Our Christian activities include morning & evening devotions, Bible studies, the Hallel half-hour praise service, character-moulding programmes and termly camp meetings.
